Science Lab

Donate to the Arizona Science Lab

The AZ Science Lab is a 100% volunteer run organization operating under the management of the IEEE, a professional engineering society. ASL volunteers: retired and employed engineers, scientists and teachers, university students and other professionals create exciting STEM based workshops for students in grades 4-8. These workshops stimulate the student's interest in STEM subjects, and inspire them to pursue studies and future careers in STEM related subjects.

BUT, we do need operating funds to pay for our facility rental fees, demonstration equipment, student experiments, and disposable supplies used by the students in building their workshop project: Rockets, Waterwheels, Electric Motors, and many others.

Some of our funds come from our very generous cooperative partners, including: SRP, Intel Corp., Verizon Foundation, NXP Semiconductors, APS Foundation, and the IEEE Power & Engr. Society.

To make a donation to the Arizona Science Lab (ASL) for their educational use in offering experiential workshops to 4-8 school students:

Make out your check to: IEEE-TISP
and mail to our treasurer:
